We are all worried about our slow economy and the future of our nation. Actually its not only our nation, its the whole world. At work today our boss told us that they don't have enough money left in the bank to cover our paychecks this week, so we have to wait for a few days. The problem is that the people our company sells too don't have money to pay for our product when they receive it. Our company has to wait for weeks to get paid. What that translates too is that our company has more money going out in bills than is coming in. Finally it all caught up and now we the employees have to wait to get paid. Whats the alternative? Really there is none except go out of business. That would mean the loss of our jobs, so we just hold our checks until there is enough money to cover them. I am just glad to still have a job, and I'm sure my fellow workers would agree. Its like this, we are just one link in the chain. We produce a product, sell that product to another company who uses it to produce their product. They then sell to another company who takes a step farther. Eventually it ends up in a store somewhere for sale. So whats the problem? People are not buying fast enough from the stores so the chain slows and gets weaker and weaker. Companies have to keep production up to make ends meet. Keeping production up floods the market, which makes the price of their product drop. Everything gets flooded and the products pile up in the warehouses. There are millions of people now that are in the same boat. Our jobs are not secure and we just live from one day to the next. My wife and I want to have a baby soon. We are working hard to reach our goals. Yes we have big dreams, but they are the same dreams shared by millions, nay billions of others. Its our God given right to have enough and to have a family to share it with. Life has no insurance. Yes there is life insurance but I'll say it again, life has no insurance. What the heck, if it did it wouldn't be near as interesting. I'll keep on going to work as long as I can, and I'll hold my paycheck if I have too and hope the money comes through soon enough that I can pay my bills. I thank God for giving me a chance to earn my way and have enough to sustain my life. Too many people want to sit and wait for a handout but where is the pride in that? A White Christmas!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr its so cold here! First it started raining last week, but it was warm then. Last night a full fledged winter storm came roaring in and the temperature plummeted, and the rain changed into snow and sleet. We didn't get as much snow as the forcast said we might but it was enough to make Christmas Day a stay at home day. My wife and I didn't go anywhere, we just stayed home and celebrated here by taking a long evening nap lol. Actually we celebrated last night by opening our gifts and exchanging a lot of hugs. We even turned on our webcam so my wife's family in the Philippines could watch us while we did gift exchange. This is the first Christmas my wife and I have got to share together. It was pretty neat having a white Christmas. Its the first one in more than 15 years. We were going to try to make the long drive to my mothers house to have Christmas Dinner with my family but one of my nieces got pretty sick last night so they postponed our family celebration until Sunday. My tractor driving wife

One more week until Christmas! I am eager for it this year because its the first Christmas I get to spend with my wife. We are both eyeing our gifts under the tree and wondering whats inside lol. Jots of our weekend

Christmas is getting nearer and nearer. Yesterday we received some jewelery that I ordered for my wife. I got to see it but she didn't hehehee. I took it into our computer room, locked the door, and wrapped it up. Now she has to wait until Christmas. Lol she is moaning and groaning as she watches me write this. She wants to see that jewelery pretty bad. We also received some new workboots that I ordered last week. Now my feet will stay dry and warm at work. My wife wanted to wrap them until Christmas but I told her that my feet will get wet and cold at work. She gave in and let me keep them. Ok ok I know. That doesn't seem fair that I wrapped her jewelery and kept my boots but we bought her some boots last week also and she got to wear them yesterday. Today we re-arranged our bedroom. It was a pretty big job. We have a king sized bed, 2 old restored antique dressers. An old restored antique footlocker, bedside table, and millions of other things and it took a long time. We like it though because now our bed is centered in the room and we both have room on our side of the bed for a table, walkway, and dresser. We did some experimenting with cooking today. We bought a huge pork loin yesterday and today I cut off a roast sized piece, then cut around and around it to make a long thin slab of meat. Then I cut up some veggies into small pieces, marinaded the meat in Silver Swan Soy Sauce and coconut vinegar. Then I put the veggies on the meat, added spices, and rolled up the meat. We tied a string around it to hold it together and baked it slow for a couple of hours. When we cut slices off it looks sort of like a cinnamon roll except the bread is really meat and the cinnamon is really veggies. it was pretty good. Tonight my lovely wife made some Kilawin Tangigue to eat with it and we also had Afretada and rice. It was a feast fit for a king. Hope everyone has a wonderful week. Its cold! Today has been rainy and the temperature is supposed to take a drastic plunge this evening. Tomorrow the wind chill factor is supposed to be near 0 degrees. I guess the wind is supposed to blow strong and it will cut like a knife. I'm probably going to make a new blog, but I will keep this one. Our friendly know it all internet dictator google still hasn't restored my other blog. every week they pretend that they just got word that it is not a spam blog after all and they beg me for patience until they get time to check it to make sure. They can kiss my ass. I have no use for a company that gets big by walking on we the people. I did some research on the internet and it seems that a lot of people are very dis-satisfied with them because they simply don't give a darn about their customers. Customer support is a computer and if you do get to talk to a rep he will just tell you to fill out a form online. Thats after putting you on hold for several minutes. What jerks! On my wifes blogs google puts ads over the top of her posts so people can't read them. Yes google is a huge company with lots of power but we are the ones that gave them that power and we can take it away. I sent them an email last night and told them that when I had another option I would drop them like a hot rock. One guy on the internet said his company spends $100,000 per month on google adwords and when he calls them with a problem he gets the same canned nonsense that everyone else does. I am tired of waiting on the jerks to restore my blog so I have decided to start over. Cold weather and a dead chicken

Last weekend my wife and I put up our Christmas Tree and decorated our house for Christmas. I am so excited this year that Christmas is near. Its the first Christmas that my wife and I will get to spend together. We are going Christmas shopping tomorrow. I can't wait to get some packages under the tree and I can't wait to see her eyes on Christmas morning when its time to unwrap the gifts. Wellllll if she is good we may open them on Christmas Eve. The weather here is pretty cold this week. We have had temperatures down in the teens and tomorrow morning is supposed to be 15 degrees. Hope our chickens don't freeze. Naw I'm kidding, their house is pretty snug, at least the hen house is. The rooster house isn't yet but they can take the cold pretty well. Speaking of chickens, when I came home from work one day this week I saw a dead chicken in our yard. It had evidently flew over the fence. We are not sure what killed it but our dog took the rap for it. I think the dog did the deed but of course I can't prove it. I saw a bobcat near our house the day before so its possible that it did it and then got scared away before it could eat the chicken. We will never know for sure, unless our dog learns to talk. I buried the chicken to remove temptation from the dog and now we have decided to clip the wings of all the chickens so they can't fly over the fence. That will be a hard job because there is so many of them. Ok I have decided on several gifts that I will probably buy for my wife for Christmas but I can't tell you yet because she will probably read this to see if I told lol. I'm just glad she is here with me this year. I thank God for my wife and for the blessings he has given us. We have been married for 2 1/2 years but have only got to live together for 9 months. She is from the Philippines and we had to get a visa for her before she could come here. Of course at the blazing speed that our government works that only took nearly 2 years.
